Registering as a Member

Participant Membership

The category of Participant Membership was defined in terms of the 50 researchers who were included in the original grant proposal. To preserve the integrity of this proposal, the Management Committee has decided to limit the number of people who are accepted as Participant Members, at least until 2006. This will focus the initial research proposal development in the Network on investigators who have strong track records in research and who have contributed to securing the funding.

New Participant Members will be considered in terms of their capacity to enhance particular theme areas or Special Interest Groups. They will also need to have a strong track record in research grants and publications, and a commitment to furthering the Network’s aims. People who would like to be considered as Participant Members will be able to make their case to the Management Committee at a time to be determined in 2006.

Network Membership

International Membership

Leading researchers from outside Australia who have an outstanding track record and collaborate with the major theme or working group areas in the Network may be invited by the Management Committee to serve as International Members. This will strengthen the international dimension of Network activities and involvement of Australian researcher in new directions and research excellence.

Organisational Membership
