This review was commissioned by the Commonwealth Office for Older Australians on behalf of the Community Services Minister's Advisory Council, to determine information needs for Commonwealth and State policy development in healthy ageing. The review presents current and planned research in healthy ageing, the existing position, possible future directions, and present and future 'players.'
